Dear RSU 57 Community. This is a reminder that tomorrow, March 8, is an Early Release Day in RSU 57. Have a pleasant evening.
Alfred Elementary students in grades 3-5 recently celebrated their learning at a grade span assembly. Students celebrated academic growth and achievement in both reading and math. Students were called to stand and received certificates of recognition.

In celebration of National Read Across America day & Dr. Seuss' birthday, Alfred Elementary students in grades K-2 participated in several literacy-themed activities & read alouds that included 'Green Eggs & Ham', 'There's a Wocket in My Pocket', 'A Fox in Socks', and 'The Cat in the Hat'. Students rotated through classrooms and completed a project at each station in addition to sampling a serving of green eggs and ham!

The work of the recently formed RSU 57 Strategic Planning Committee is well underway. The Committee is beginning the work of identifying priorities from which goals will be established on the future of RSU 57 schools. Additionally, much of the work of the Committee is focused on identifying the skills, dispositions and knowledge that Massabesic graduates will need to lead successful and fulfilling lives in an ever changing world. As part of this work, the Planning Committee is seeking feedback from the entire RSU 57 community. Below is a link to a survey that we invite parents, guardians, RSU 57 staff members and community members to complete. The feedback garnered from this survey will greatly inform the formation of the RSU 57 Strategic Plan. Thank you for your time in responding to this important survey.
