This notice is to inform you that today the Maine Department of Education has designated York County as “Yellow,” and now has the third highest positivity rate (3.5%) in the State. In keeping with our reopening plan, this means that there will be no changes to our academic program; however, after school programs - including athletics and activities - will be paused until the “Yellow” designation has been lifted.
Our ability to keep schools open in service to our communities depends on each of us doing our part. I ask that you follow CDC guidance, especially now as the holidays approach and the spread of the virus continues to increase. Please limit your travel, size of gatherings, and maintain the practice of wearing masks, social distancing and frequent hand washing.

This notice is to inform you that Per the office of the Governor, effective Monday, November 16, 2020, Massachusetts is no longer exempt from Maine’s quarantine or negative test requirement. People coming here from Massachusetts must either quarantine for 14 days or receive a negative COVID-19 test with a sample taken no longer than 72 hours from arrival in Maine. This protocol applies to Maine residents returning from Massachusetts (https://bit.ly/MAtravelrestrictions) or another of the non-exempt states.

Our NJROTC were out representing Massabesic in Newfield! Yesterday Seniors Rachel Bonia, Gabby Harimann, Garrett Stevens and Jared Fournier helped in the ceremony and MSgt. Bricke was invited to give the keynote speech.
Our cadets/students did an excellent job today. Prior to the ceremony they spent some time teaching the Boy Scout Troop some drill - they did a good job and looked sharp for the ceremony! Extremely proud of our students.
