Hello MHS Students - due to the snow day and school closure that we experienced today, tomorrow, Friday February 7, 2025 is a GREEN DAY.
Dear RSU 57 Community, Due to the most recent forecast developments, all RSU 57 schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, February 6, 2025. With this snow day, the final day for students in RSU 57 is now Friday, June 13.

Due to a forecast of deteriorating road conditions for the second half of the day tomorrow, Thursday, February 6, RSU 57 schools will have an Early Dismissal. Students at MMS and MHS will be dismissed at 11:30am. All elementary schools will begin dismissal at 12:30pm. Please note that bus transportation from school to home may be delayed, especially for elementary runs. If the projected storm intensifies and warrants cancellation, you will be notified in the morning. As always, we make these decisions with the priority of student and staff safety in mind. Please travel safely.

It is with great excitement and pride that we announce the recipients of the Model Mustang Staff Award for the month of December! This award is a tribute to those outstanding individuals who embody the qualities of a true “Model Mustang”; they inspire, lead, foster positivity, persevere, and excel in all that they do. Each Model Mustang was nominated by colleagues who took the time to acknowledge and celebrate their coworkers’ exceptional contributions to our district. Their hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed, and we are grateful for the positive impact they have within RSU 57! This month's raffle winner is Sean Falasca from our RSU 57 Special Services department!

Students from Alfred Elementary enjoyed a virtual presentation last week that featured our Harvest of Month; Potatoes! They were able to learn fun and nutritional facts regarding local Maine potatoes, as well as sample a delicious Loaded Baked Potato Salad made directly in their school kitchens.
