Lyman Elementary had a fun packed week with Fire Safety Presentations, Fire Truck Ride, and we ended the week with our annual walk-a-thon. Thank you to all who helped this week.

What an awesome week at Alfred Elementary! Today students learned about fire safety through hands on experience with emergency vehicles and a smokehouse! A special thank you to all of the firefighters who donated their time today. This week we also held our fall book fair and family literacy night! A special thank you to Mrs. Bear and Mrs. White for taking the lead on these events!

They also learned about celestial navigation in MMA's planetarium and explored wet and diesel engine practical laboratories.
Additionally, on September 27, NJROTC provided Color Guard and Honor Guard to Army Sergeant Victor Acox, who will celebrate his 99th birthday next month. Cadets were asked to sign a commemorative flag along with combat veterans and supporters who were present.
