Delia Harms has been selected to perform with five other musicians in the finalist’s recital for the Maine High School Concerto Competition sponsored by the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. The top winner will get to perform their selected solo in a public performance with the BSO while the top three finishers will all receive a scholarship. This is a tremendous honor, placing Delia as one of the very best musicians in the State of Maine. Delia performs bassoon in the MHS Band, the Portland Youth Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra, was 1st Chair for District Honor Band and is 2nd chair in The All-State Ensembles (and is only a Sophomore!). Delia studies privately with Wren Saunders.
