Yearbook Distribution Information!

Good Morning RSU 57 Community.
In an ongoing effort to keep our student information as current and accurate as possible, RSU 57 will now utilize an annual verification process. This is for all returning students to RSU 57 from the 2022-23 school year. (New students to RSU 57 must be registered via the “2023/2024 School Year New Student Registration” portal in ParentVUE.) This process ensures we have the most current information for each of our students and their family so that we may communicate effectively with families and it best ensures the safety of our students.
Families are asked to review the information the district has on file in ParentVUE and make any needed changes, as well as read and acknowledge the included policies and/or required questions. This verification process will take 5-10 mins or less. If you do not know your ParentVUE login please email parentvue@rsu57.org for assistance. You will hear back between the hours of 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Please visit the link below for detailed instructions on how to complete this important process. It is required that ALL returning students have this annual verification completed prior to the start of the school year. We appreciate your assistance with this effort to ensure each of our RSU 57 students has up-to-date information in our student information system.

Lastly, please note that viewing items such as your child's schedule, past grades, etc. will not be available until August 14 in ParentVUE.
We wish you all a healthy and happy remainder of summer.
The York County Sheriff's Office will be on the MHS campus tomorrow, Friday August 4th and also next Friday (August 11th) to conduct school-safety training for their officers in one isolated wing of the MHS West building. You may notice a large number of police vehicles on campus as there will be numerous deputies attending this training. The MHS West building will be open for employees who work during the summer only. The MHS East building, RSU 57 Central Office, RSU 57 Transportation, and MHS Athletic Facilities will continue their operations without interruptions on these two Fridays.
RSU 57 Nutrition Staff attended Shapleigh Community Day on Saturday, July 22nd to promote their free summer meals program! Free kids raffle, t-shirts and snacks! Congratulations to the raffle winners, Hailey, Graham, Lincoln & Lydia!

Synergy for MHS students experienced a programming malfunction yesterday (June 6) and sent notifications to parents for any and all students who were marked tardy and/or absent yesterday - even for those students whose parents excused their tardies/absences. Our Technology Department is looking into this issue to find resolution. We apologize for this inconvenience.
A reminder that your Senior Breakfast begins at 8:00 am in the cafeteria and Marching Practice begins at 9:00 am in the gymnasium. Practice should finish between 12:30 and 1:00 pm today.
See you soon!
SENIOR SEND-OFF CELEBRATION IS STILL ON! We have moved this event to the bus drop-off/pick-up area between the high school and central office to avoid the wet areas of our athletics fields. We will have food and games for all attendees as we celebrate our soon-to-be graduates. We encourage attendees to bring their own camp chair(s) if they would like! We start at 5:00 pm and will wrap up by 7:00 pm!
Senior Class Trip Cancellation
The Senior Class Trip to Brownstone Adventure Park scheduled for Sunday, June 4th has been cancelled. We understand this decision may be upsetting and we apologize for this inconvenience and cancellation. The park is closing to the public tomorrow due to weather conditions. After considering these weather conditions (high of 60 degrees, 40% chance of rain during the hours we had intended to visit) and the fact that nearly all of the activities in the park involve water, we feel it is prudent to save students the frustration and disappointment of 8 hours of travel for 3-4 hours of a cold and unpleasant visit. Unfortunately, we are unable to reschedule this trip between now and graduation. Mrs. Pellegrino & Mrs. Ellis are working to determine refund amounts from the park and they will be working with your Class Officers to decide on uses for those funds prior to your upcoming graduation.
We still have several events coming up this week for the class to celebrate together:
Monday June 5th - Senior Send-Off Celebration BBQ
Tuesday, June 6th - Senior Breakfast before marching practice
Wednesday, June 7th - Awards Night & Hypnotist Event
Thursday, June 8th - Graduation & Project Grad
Attention Class of 2023 Students & Parents: the Senior Send-Off Celebration is POSTPONED - out of an abundance of caution due to potential thunderstorms in our area today, we are moving this event to Monday, June 5 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at the MHS Stadium and surrounding fields.
