The Alfred PTSA would like to thank all the families that joined us last night for our Fall Family Bingo Night! We were able to raise $611 towards our classrooms, school, and much much more! We hope everyone enjoys their fall-themed goodies, apple crisps, and pies!

On Saturday, November 18, Massabesic High School’s NJROTC cadets competed in the All New England Drill League of Navy JROTC against schools from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Saturday’s meeting was one of four annual competitions taking place this fall. The event was an opportunity for students to compete in challenges including physical fitness and to practice leadership, discipline, and good sportsmanship.
In the Individual Drill Knockout - an event akin to “Simon Says” for drill knowledge - over 100 students competed to be in the last ten cadets standing. Eligible participants include first, second, and third year cadets only, and once students have earned a “top ten” spot, they can no longer compete in the event. We are proud to share that of the top ten students who finished the Knockout, FIVE of them were from our MHS NJROTC! Congratulations to first year cadets Terver Kinney, Grace Shipman, Alley Heath, Guardian Boedecker (Bonny Eagle), and Aiden Parsons (Bonny Eagle) for their win!
