Jakub S from MMS was recently recognized by the Transportation Department for his in-depth knowledge of the district's buses and drivers. He received a team sweatshirt and some other tokens as an honorary member & was given a tour of the bus garage too! Welcome to the team Jakub!

Pre K registration is now open! Please follow the link to all needed paperwork. We are excited to meet our district’s youngest learners. Paperwork will be accepted through February 28, 2020!


Bus 1472 (Limerick) is running approximately 15 minutes behind. Other buses are assisting with pickups.

The first MMS Ski Bus trip to Shawnee Peak is tomorrow, skiers and riders! Drop off your gear at the Event Entrance’s exterior locker room doors between 7- 7:30am. Have fun and ski and ride safely!


Students in Ms. Fournier's 6th grade class room participated in the Hour of Code on Friday. This introductory activity from code.org is a great way to learn the basics of computer science!

MMS 6th grade art students viewing and responding to their peer’s watercolor exhibit. Students were asked to synthesize their learning and make connections between the pieces. Wonderful job, beautiful art!


Our last update still reports that the bus cannot get through Foss Rd in Limerick in the area of #391. Students will need to meet Bus 1371 at either Patterson Rd or Route 5 this morning. The bus will not be able to travel through. We will update later as we know more.

Did you know that almost 175 students are involved in the MMS Intramural sports program? With floor hockey, capture the flag, and other gym class games, it’s fun way to get moving and to get involved!


MMS 6th graders visited the Osher Map Museum in Portland this week. Students explored five centuries of world maps to show the progression of geographical knowledge in the western world.



MMS 6th grader Zach Sotir and family have organized a fundraiser for our student, friend, and Jaxson’s sister, Izabella Lamb, to take place at the middle school football games on Saturday, October 12th. Join in for a bake sale, 50/50 raffle, t-shirt sale, and fun! #bravelikebella
