The new school year is always an exciting time for us here at Massabesic Adult and Community Education. We have lots of new students coming back to school to finish their high school credential, and we also begin a new semester of community enrichment classes. We are excited to be offering over 80 classes this Fall. We have returning favorites, such as Pickleball, Basic Home Repairs, and our Homesteading series, as well as lots of brand new classes, including Chain Pull Fluid Art, Beginner Guitar, and Stained Glass Art.
From paint nights and art journaling to our Massabesic Community Band and 3D Printing, there really is something for everyone at Massabesic Adult and Community Education. We are excited to begin offering more family focused programming, including Martial Arts for Parents and Children, and hope to offer more in the future.
After the success of our free weekly Cards Club, we have decided to expand to offer more free clubs, which give community members the chance to socialize and share a hobby with others. Monday afternoon is Cards Club, we will have Games Night on Tuesdays, and Craft Club on Thursdays. Come along and meet new people!
Thank you to our community partners, Peck's Acupuncture, Parsons Memorial Library, and Shapleigh Community Center, for allowing us to offer daytime classes at their sites. We will be offering daytime yoga, balloon boxing, spoon carving, and coffee hours for older adults and new parents.
Check your mailbox for our brochure, or just take a look at our registration page to see everything we have to offer this Fall. We look forward to seeing you at a class soon!
