RSU 57 Activities Announcements 3-11-22

MHS Spring SportsInformation Night

On Monday 3-14 at 6pm there will be a spring sports informational ZOOM for all spring athletes at MHS and a parent or guardian.   The link for the meeting is https://rsu57.zoom.us/j/9038900229    There will be an opportunity to meet with your team head coaches in separate ZOOM meeting rooms after I have concluded my portion.    Our coaches will be before our ZOOM at 5pm.

MHS Spring Practice Information

Baseball and Softball

MHS baseball and softball begin practices for grades 9-12  on 3-21.   Baseball will practice first from 2:15pm until the late bus at 4:15pm.   Softball will begin practices at 5pm.  Both will start in the MHS gym and move outside as weather cooperates.

Our remaining fall sports begin practicing on Monday 3-28.

Boys Lacrosse-  5pm on the stadium Turf.

Girls Lacrosse-  2:15pm on the stadium Turf

Girls and Boys Track-  2:15pm on the track.

Tennis-  2:15 - 4pm on the tennis courts.

DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT

The MHS Leadership Academy is hosting a Dodgeball Tournament on Wednesday 3-16 from 2:15pm until 4:!5pm.   There are prizes for the winning team and for the most creative team participating!  Teams are limited to high school students or faculty.   Teams should be made up of 6-8 players for each game.   There will be a tournament format with a championship final!   Come have some fun and play some dodgeball!  The link to sign up is below.

Register to play spring sports at MHS!

Below is the information needed to register and become eligible to participate!

Spring Season Registrations Link!

REVTRAK is open for Spring Sports Registrations at MHS and MMS.  The link to sign up is https://rsu57.revtrak.net.   Please use a laptop or desk top to sign up as phones or IPads are not reliable to complete the process.

IMPACT TESTS- Concussion Baseline 

All incoming 9th grade students for school year 21-22 must have a new impact test completed for fall sports upon entering high school.

All athletes must have a current Impact Baseline test on file. There is a link to do baseline tests  at home this year. MMS athletes require a new Impact test each year. MHS Athletes require a test their 9th and 11th grade years or if they have not had one in two years or have never had one.

PHYSICALS 

All athletes at MMS and MHS must have current physicals on file with our school nurse.  Physicals are good for 2 years. All who have registered as of today have been contacted if a  physical is needed.
