The Massabesic Center for Adult Learning has the following vacancy for your consideration:
POSITION: Part-time Gardening Instructor at York County Jail
REPORTS TO: MCAL Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
Background in agricultural gardening
Prior teaching experience preferred.
Comfortable in a correctional setting.
WORKING HOURS: Seasonal part-time days, 15-18 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees the garden beds at YCJ.
Provides instruction and supervision to YCJ residents while working in the garden.
Provides a safe and comfortable learning environment.
Maintains student confidentiality.
