Grading/Gradebook
This document outlines the steps for grade 9 teachers for completing the end-of-semester report.

Teacher feedback has been reported to be the most desired and informational aspect of the end-of-semester report.  This report outlines the steps to add both general and individual comments for the progress report.  An additional feature for grade 9 is the ability to assign a default pace designation for the class.

Using the target browser to enter overall scores allows the teacher to view all of the activities ever assigned that addresses that target and the associated maximum achievable score (MAS) and activity score. This fuller picture allows teachers to get a full picture of what students have done to show proficiency on the target skills and/or processes.

Teachers have asked over the years for a way to print a class roster.  The "Teacher Roving Report" allows a teacher to create a roster in a table format and personalize the column headings to meet a multitude of classroom needs.

Submitting a Help Ticket (click on the link)
Empower has a help ticket process built into the teacher, student and parent Empower page.  Simple click on the plus/delta link on the blue bar top of most pages in Empower.
